My Speaker Session Topic – Livestock Farming – Potential opportunities with Deep Core Bioprocess based extraction of eggshell to Convert Waste to Value

Topic Summary : Eggshell is another valueable biomass which comprises of shell and membrane. While eggshell contains 94-97% Calcium carbonate calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium and traces of Sodium, Potassium, Manganese, Iron and Copper the membraine contains natural molecules Collagen – peptides collagen (type I, V, and X), Elastin, Desmosine & Iso-desmosine , Glycos-amino-glycans (GAGs) –(GAG) . Natural extraction and preservation of these natural molexule that would be gift for human health and animal health especially regulation of cell growth and proliferation, promotion of cell adhesion, anticoagulation, wound repair, maintaining healthy articular cartilage; and is an important structural component of cartilage and provides much of its resistance to compression, benefit for osteoarthritis and cataracts, regulation of blood coagulation and the response to infection as well as beauty, to reduce free radicals and oxidative damage associated with aging improving moisture retention and hydrates skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles significantly.
